We found The Tate Academy 5 years ago when we were looking for a dance academy that would challenge my daughter. We were at one studio for 5/6 years when we felt that the education had plateaued and my daughter was getting bored and frustrated. We tried several local dance studios before deciding that Tate was where we needed to be. The amount of growth even after a few weeks was very noticeable. My daughter and I never looked back. She was being challenged and pushed; her skill set grew tremendously. The choreography that Tabitha creates is so varied and creative that the dancers are constantly evolving. I highly recommend The Tate Academy and can't say enough good things about them!!!

I started dancing at The Tate Academy five years ago, and it was the best decision I have made. Tabitha was beyond welcoming and the best teacher I had in my entire dance career of 10 years. She has created a studio with so many opportunities for her dancers to grow; bringing in the best teachers and traveling to the best conventions. The Tate Academy is not only where hard work is done and dancers become amazing. It is a place where friends are made, and where fun is had. The bonds that are formed with other students and teachers is unmatched. My dance life has changed for the better forever because of Tate and Tabitha!

Our two daughters have been dancing with Tabitha Boulding since 2013, where she taught them Musical Theater, Tap, Jazz, and Acro at the Bergen PAC. In September 2016, her vision of being owner/artistic director came to light with the opening of her own studio The Tate Academy in Teaneck.

Tabitha is passionate about dance and dance education. Along with teaching technique, she inspires her students to go above and beyond. She is genuine and teaches from the heart. Energetic, positive, patient, yet firm, she never gives up, never puts them down.

Tabitha is also a coach to an award winning dance competition team. She encourages and teaches her dancers to support each other, not compete against one another. Its a dance family where dancers and parents have made good friendships and support each other.

The six instructors on staff are phenomenal and very talented. Luisa, the front desk administrator is friendly, helpful, and very creative with costumes! We absolutely recommend Tabitha and her studio; were blessed to be a part of it.

All kinds of dance for all ages. Mostly teens and younger. Competition available for those interested.

My daughter switched over to the Tate Academy after dancing at another school for five years. She was anxious because you make your friends at one place and sometimes it's hard to transition. She was welcomed with open arms - it's like a little family! The girls, teachers and moms are all encouraging and nurturing. In addition to that, in one year Ms. Tabitha and the teachers there have taken her dancing to a whole new level. It's amazing the transformation she has made as a dancer and how much she has grown from it. My daughter is a company dancer and we are there six days a week. She also takes the recreational hip hop class and finds it just as challenging as the company classes.

I have honestly never been there, but my friends who attend Tate Academy say I should take a stretch class there. Do I have to take an actual class for the stretch? Please answer me, I really need to know.

LOVE this dance studio! Owner and staff are great! Very friendly, professional and helpful! I started bringing my 7 yr old daughter to Tate Academy for their summer ballet and conditioning classes. Let me tell you my daughter raves about what she learns from the instructors and has so much fun!! The studio is very nice, clean and well maintained. The instructors and staff really care about the students, their safety and do a great job of teaching their craft. There are a few parking slots available in front otherwise theres ample parking right across the street. I highly recommend this establishment!!

The Tate Academy is a great place to go and learn dance. All their teachers are experienced, hardworking, and loving. Ms. Tabitha is an awesome teacher/coach!! They do more than just teach they care and wanna see all their students succeed.

Great place we bring our son here once a week for boys hip hop and he loves it. The teacher and staff are awesome and cheerful they really take the time to have all the kids come together, you can tell they are passionate about they do. we just signed up for our second year and we are excited for the dance show in June the kids put on, its impressive the performance
